SELF LEVELLING SCREED

Self-  Leveling Screed based on cement, reinforced with fiber, that can be applied between 1-10 mm.

Technical Specifications

Material Content: Cement based

Color: Gray

Density: ≈ 2,25 kg / lt

Dmax: 0,4 mm

Usage Areas

  • It can be used as leveling screed before the applications which will be done on to the internal floors of all buildings exposed to pedestrian traffic; parquet, ceramic, pvc, etc..
  • It is used for filling the holes formed on the application surfaces, quickly and easily and making the area ready for insulation.

Advantages

  • It is suitable for floors exposed to pedestrian traffic.
  • It is suitable for leveling holes between 1-10 mm on the ground.
  • It spreads itself and forms a flat surface.
  • Related with the weather conditions, can be walked on 4 hours after application.
  • It can be applied with pump.

Method of Application

  • The surface must be free from dust, clean and intact. The surface should be moistened before application.
  • It is recommended to prime the surface with AREL AKRILIK ASTAR (AREL ACRYLIC PRIMER) before application of YAYILAN TESVIYE SAPI (Self Leveling Screed).
  • The primed surface increases the adhesion strength and efficiency of the YAYILAN TESVIYE SAPI (Self Leveling Screed) to concrete and prevents cracking.
  • It should be applied between + 5°C and + 30° It should not be applied on days when there is a risk of rain and frost.
  • While adding slowly 20 kg of YAYILAN TESVİYE ŞAPI (Self Leveling Screed) to 5-6 kg of water, it should be mixed with low speed mixer for about 3-5 minutes. It is then expected to be self-leveled by pouring it onto the primed or moistened surface. Brush or check rust etc. can be used to speed up the leveling process. At the end air bubbles are detonated by the hedgehog roll and the application is completed.
  • Consumption should be calculated before the application and sufficient material should be available (ready-to-use).

Packaging and Storage

  • 20 kg craft bag
  • Under appropriate storage conditions – in dry and humid environments-, shelf life is 1 years from the date of production.
