IZO-SEF is elastomeric acrylic resin based, silane containing, produced for especially ceramic etc. surfaces, which provides insulation to the surface without inflecting the surface appearance.
Technical Specifications
Material Content: Acrylic Copolymer
Color: White
Density: ≈ 1,05 kg / lt
Solid Content: ≈ %50
Solubility in Water: Easily Dissolved
Usage Areas
- Ceramic roofs, balkonies etc.
- Bathroom, kitchen, toilet etc.
- Transparent insulation needed areas like covered with slate
- Transparent insulation needed side facades
( Do not use in places constantly exposed to water like pools)
Advantages
- Does not contain solvents. It is suitable for use in all indoor and outdoor environments.
- It provides entire transparent insulation and does not create joints on the surface.
- Has a flexible structure.
- It penetrates into the cracks and prevents waterproof.
- Resistant to UV rays.
Method of Application
- Surface should be cleaned from dust, rust and dirt before application.
- The surface must be very well cleaned. Uncleaned surface reduces the adhesion force and cause defects on appeareance.
- When surface preparation is ready, after mixing the IZO-SEF, it should be applied to the surface with a roller or brush.
- It is recommended to apply a double layer of 250 – 500 gr/square meter in a single layer. Application should be made so that the layers are perpendicular to each other.
- Ease of application and better surface appearance can be achieved by adding up to 1 liter of water. However, the square meter to be applied should not be increased by adding water.
- In applications where 1 kg per square meter is used, it creates a thickness of approximately 0.5 mm on the surface.
- After application, all tools and equipment can be cleaned with water.
Packaging and Storage
- 3 kg and 17 kg kg plastic bucket
- It can be used for 2 years from the production date under suitable storage conditions.
- IZO-SEF should be protected from frost. The frozen product becomes unusable.
NOTE:
1-Water insulation is an application that must be done on concrete. Since ceramic and tiled surfaces can move according to the materials underneath (foam, etc.), it is very difficult to install insulation that will last for a long time. It is an alternative solution application that can be done without breaking the ceramic etc.surfaces. A definitive solution cannot be guaranteed for such surfaces.
2- Whitening may be seen on the material where ponding water occurs. After the water is removed (evaporation, etc.), the material becomes transparent again.
