POLİ-KAP 2K is a polyurethane based, two component, fiber reinforced and containing a small amount of solvent, liquid waterproofing membrane which has capillary crack covering and bridging feature.

Method of Application
- It is ready to use in its packaging.
- Surface should be cleaned from dust, rust and dirt before application.
- It is recommended to prime the surface with AREL AKRILIK ASTAR (AREL ACRYLIC PRIMER) before applying BITULASTIK. Then it can be applied with a brush or trowel, depending on the properties of the application surface.
- In multi-layer applications, application should be made after the lower layer is completely dry.
- When used in waterproofing, minimum of 1 kg / square meter should be used.
- Particular attention should be paid that the application surface must be purified of dirt, rust, dust, oily area or unstable particles.
- It is very important that the application area is dry. This is a very important factor for the product to catch the expected quality.
- The ambient and surface temperatures of the application area should be between + 5°C and + 30°
- After the surface preparation, two components are mixed with the help of a low speed mechanical mixer. This process, which takes approximately 1-2 minutes, continues until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. This prepared product for application should be used immediately especially in hot weather.
- The product, which is ready for use, is applied to the surface by brush, roller, squeegee or spray machines. Application should be done at least 1 kg / square meter area. Curing time of the product is directly related to temperature. Fast drying is observed in hot weather and slow drying in cold weather.
- After the application, tools and equipment (which are used) should be cleaned with special cleaners
- During the application, the applicator’s contact with the product should be avoided by using safety equipment such as gloves and glasses.
Packaging and Storage
- Component A: 17 kg plastic bucket & Component B: 3 kg plastic bucket
- It can be used for 2 years from the production date under suitable storage conditions.
- Since the product contains solvent, it should not be exposed to fire and high temperature.
- The mixed product must be used in a short time, otherwise it will cure and become unusable.
